7/22 2:07 AM Keep up the great work, I knew a guy my son played for that the Braves wanted him to get his fastball up 5 MPH and he couldn't do it, they showed no interest after that, if you are throwing 89-90 now, you should someday be able to hit 95, and it sounds like you're on the right track, Sounds like a great and busy summer you've had, I'm sure you'll get plenty of attention if you are over 90 consistently. Keep up the hard work and you're on the 5 Star page with some good company. School will be starting back soon, stay on top of the studies, work hard there too. As Erk Russell used to say G.A.T.A. (Get After Their Ass)....Keep us posted.

And i saw the pictures from LSU, that looked like an amazing experience. I played at a college field once, and it's something you don't forget.
But if the scouts say you're a better pitcher, run with it. They are the ones with the money. But you look liek you have plenty of natural athleticism to play just about anywhere. I played against a guy this year who signed with LSU, and he threw 86-88 in-game, and he didn't have an impressive off-speed pitch, so if you can throw high 80's off the mound, you should be just fine. I also played against Chad Jones this year, and he got drafted in the 13th round. I have a picture of him on my page.
I'm going to try to pitch in college. I throw around 85, but I rely a lot on my splitfinger, plus I'm going to a much smaller college. Just keep up the hard work, and if you ever make another trip to Baton Rouge, or anywhere in Louisiana for that matter, tell me about it so I can give you some suggestions about some good restaurants.
